Functional/personal training is a series of exercises that reflects the movements you make as part of daily life. It can help improve athletic performance and prevent injuries. The purpose of functional training is to make the activities you do every day easier. A functional workout can contain different compound exercises like lunges or squats. Compound exercises are important because they require multiple muscle groups to work together, just like activities in our daily lives.
